Student Internships

Student Internships

Internship projects vary by semester and may include public health education and outreach, data collection, research, communications and social media, inventory management, environmental health, quality improvement (QI)/accreditation, and more. Internship duration typically aligns with the academic semester but may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis to meet program and student needs.

Please note that internships are conducted in person. We are primarily seeking students located in Northern New Jersey, including Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, and Union counties. Affiliation agreements with the student’s college or university will be completed as needed and, on a case,-by-case basis to ensure all academic requirements are met. We also welcome interns and volunteers who are seeking to further develop their skills and gain hands-on experience for personal or professional growth, even if the internship is not required for academic credit.
