Mobile Health Services

​Essex County is proud to provide two dedicated mobile  Health Units:

The Pediatric Unit – delivering wellness checks, and preventive services tailored to children and families.

These mobile units are designed to remove barriers to care and bring health services directly into the community. By partnering with local schools, churches, community centers, nonprofit organizations, and municipal partners, Essex County ensures that residents have access to care where they live, work, worship, and gather.

Community organizations can request a mobile health unit to be present at their events or locations, making it easier for individuals who may face challenges—such as transportation, insurance, or scheduling—to access trusted health services.
